Washington DC & VA – May 7, 2025 – Netrin Health is proud to announce that its Founder and CEO, Arumani Manisundaram, has been appointed by the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) to serve on the AHEAD Primary Care Advisory Council, a strategic body guiding the future of advanced primary care in Maryland.
The Council will provide guidance on the implementation of the AHEAD (States Advancing All-Payer Health Equity Approaches and Development) Model, an initiative launched by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). Designed to transform primary care delivery, the AHEAD Model supports improved population health, equitable access to care, and reduced healthcare costs through multi-payer alignment. Maryland is among the first states selected to lead this national initiative.
Arumani Manisundaram’s appointment reflects Netrin Health’s leadership in value-based care and his personal commitment to advancing whole-person, ethical care. Under his direction, Netrin Health has delivered tens of millions of dollars in shared savings through its high-performing Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) ACO and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield ACO. Netrin Health is widely recognized for its innovative integration of analytics, virtual care solutions, and Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) into a scalable model that drives measurable outcomes.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and life sciences, Arumani previously served as a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led one of the first nationwide interoperability initiatives across NCI-designated cancer centers. Today, he continues to push the boundaries of care transformation through AI-driven tools that improve how teams, data, and technology work together.
